Ingredients

2 Tbsp | Pastene Extra Virgin Olive Oil | |
1 lb | ground beef | |
1 | onion, chopped | |
2 | bell peppers, diced | |
1 cup | frozen corn | |
1 | can black beans, drained and rinsed | |
1 | 650ml jar Pastene Marinara Sauce | |
¼ cup | Pastene Ketchup | |
1 cup | water | |
1 tsp | Worcestershire sauce | |
1 Tbsp | brown sugar | |
1 tsp | chili powder | |
¼ tsp | smoked paprika | |
1 | bay leaf | |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions
Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 1 hour | Resting time: 15 minutes
- Heat the olive oil on medium and cook the onions and peppers for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the beef and cook until browned, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add beans, corn, tomato sauce, ketchup, water, Worcestershire, brown sugar and spices.
- Reduce the heat to low heat and simmer for an hour, covered.
- Remove from the heat and allow the chili to rest for 15 minutes.
- Enjoy topped with with sour cream and grated cheddar cheese.
