1 | 398 ml can Pastene Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes | |
2 Tbsp | butter | |
1 Tbsp | flour | |
1½ cups | milk | |
3 cups | sharp cheddar cheese, coarsely grated | |
1 | jalapeño pepper, finely chopped | |
cilantro as garnish |
Directions
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5-10 minutes
- In a medium pot on medium-low heat, melt the butter.
- When melted, add the flour and mix well.
- Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly.
- Heat until just before boiling, then slowly add the cheese, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and jalapeño and cook until the tomatoes are hot.
- Garnish with cilantro and enjoy with tortilla chips!
