1 | French baguette, sliced | |
2 | 125 g cans Pastene Spiced Sardines in olive oil, mashed | |
2 Tbsp | softened butter | |
½ | lemon, juiced | |
salt and pepper to taste | ||
¼ cup | scallions, finely chopped |
Directions
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5 minutes
- Cut baguette into 1″ thick slices and bake until toasted.
- Place sardines, butter, and juice in a bowl and mash with a fork to thoroughly combine.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread onto each baguette slice and sprinkle chopped spring onion on top. Serve and enjoy.
